English Club Communicators (Ages 9–12)
At English Club Hua Hin, we use internationally respected National Geographic Learning materials because they are designed to keep students engaged, motivated, and having fun. The exciting visuals, real-world topics, and interactive activities capture children’s interest, making English learning something they look forward to, not a chore.
By working with these materials, learners don’t just memorise words — they actively use English in meaningful ways. Every lesson is enjoyable, and interactive.
What is English Communicators?
English Club Hua Hin – English Communicators (Ages 9–12) is our advanced English speaking programme for children aged 9 to 12. This course is built specifically for Thai learners who want to speak fluently, express their ideas clearly, and build the confidence to communicate in real-world situations.
Classes are held after school and on weekends at our purpose-built learning centre in Hua Hin. Each session is fast-paced, practical, and focused entirely on helping students speak naturally, respond in full sentences, and engage in meaningful conversation — not just repeat memorised phrases.
Students don’t sit still doing worksheets. Instead, they take part in guided discussions, structured pair work, roleplay, debate tasks, project presentations, and real-life communication activities. Every lesson is designed to promote confidence and fluency.
What Makes Our Programme Different?
At English Club Hua Hin, our Communicators (Ages 9–12) programme is designed to make English fun, active, and confidence-boosting. With after-school and Saturday sessions, children don’t just study English — they use it every week in lively, engaging ways.
Key benefits include:
Fun activities that build speaking confidence step by step
Partner and group discussions where every child has a voice
Roleplay, debates, and games that make practice enjoyable
Clear speaking goals checked and celebrated in every lesson
Interactive prompts that spark real conversations, not memorised phrases
By focusing on fun and confidence, learners gain the fluency and communication skills they need to succeed at school and beyond — while enjoying English in a relaxed, supportive environment.
The Economist Educational Foundation – Topical Talk
At English Club Hua Hin, our Communicators (Ages 9–12) programme uses Topical Talk from The Economist Educational Foundation. This internationally recognised resource helps children practise fun, real-world speaking while developing confidence, critical thinking, and clear communication.
Students learn to share ideas, explore global issues, and take part in lively discussions that make English both useful and enjoyable. Lessons encourage children to express themselves confidently and naturally in every session.
Discussion and speaking tasks include:
Exploring fairness, technology, and everyday challenges
Sharing and debating ideas in small groups
Using speaking routines for structured thinking
Building persuasive speech and active listening
This engaging approach ensures learners build the fluency, confidence, and communication skills they need to succeed — while enjoying English in a fun and motivating way.
BBC Learning English
We use speaking videos, pronunciation guides, and conversational models from BBC Learning English to give learners access to clear British English and real-world dialogue. These materials help students:
- Hear natural English spoken clearly
- Practise modelled responses
- Learn connected speech and intonation patterns
- Roleplay everyday interactions with confidence
BBC’s speaking content is perfect for students preparing for formal speaking tasks and helps bridge the gap between classroom practice and real-world English.
English Speaking Board (ESB) – Speaking Development
Our English Club Hua Hin Communicators (Ages 9–12) programme includes speaking development activities inspired by the English Speaking Board (ESB) Graded Examinations in Speech.
Students practise:
Giving short prepared and impromptu talks
Describing pictures, objects, or experiences
Answering topic-led questions in a supportive setting
This practical speaking approach builds fluency, encourages natural interaction, and prepares learners to use English with confidence in real situations.

At English Club Hua Hin, our Communicators (Ages 9–12) sessions also integrate Trinity Stars: Young Performers in English, which uses drama, music, and performance to make learning English fun, interactive, and creative.
