Residential English Speaking Camp
Residential English Speaking Camp - Live, Learn, and Speak English —
The Residential English Speaking Camp by ILC is designed with one clear goal — to help every student speak English with real confidence. Located in the peaceful seaside town of Hua Hin, just three hours from Bangkok, this Residential English Speaking Camp provides daily chances for learners to speak, present, and communicate in English through real-life experiences. Forget grammar drills and memorisation — at ILC, the focus is on natural, confident communication. From breakfast to bedtime, students live the language, gaining not only new vocabulary but also the courage and fluency to use it in every situation.
Speaking Comes First
In most Thai classrooms, students study English for years but rarely get the chance to actually speak it. At our residential English speaking camp, that changes. Every student is encouraged to speak up, try new phrases, and build confidence through real communication. This residential English speaking camp is designed to create a fun, supportive environment where students practise English naturally from morning to night. With small groups, guided correction, and interactive lessons, our residential English speaking camp helps every learner speak English clearly, confidently, and with purpose.
Trinity College London GESE
GESE stands for Graded Examinations in Spoken English. It’s a UK government-recognised exam that assesses students’ ability to communicate in real-life situations. There are no written papers—just a one-to-one conversation with a teacher or examiner. Students learn to express opinions, talk about their lives, ask and answer questions, and manage natural conversations. It’s ideal for Thai learners because it removes the fear of ‘getting it wrong’ and encourages genuine speaking. We use adapted Trinity speaking task sheets, question banks, and conversation prompts aligned to student levels. These allow for personalised speaking practice while also introducing students to the structure of the GESE exam if they choose to take it later.
English Speaking Board (ESB) Skills for Speaking
Founded in 1953, ESB was the first exam board in the UK to assess students on their ability to speak clearly and confidently. The Skills for Speaking syllabus builds 21st-century communication skills through short presentations, structured storytelling, and discussion.
We use ESB topic cards, visual cues, and scaffolding templates that help students organise their thoughts and present their ideas in a logical, confident way. It’s especially effective for students who are shy or unsure how to start speaking.
Lessons are interactive, practical, and designed to get students speaking as much as possible.
